Imagine AquaTonesWater • Sound • Picture • Movement The water reservoir at Liebwil near Bern has stood empty since 2004 for substantial refurbishment works. The musician Willi Grimm is fascinated by the sound characteristics of the location and its unique architecture. So, on his initiative, the works have temporarily been halted. On Sunday 13th June artists in the fields of music, dance, science and film are meeting in the water reservoir. Various natural-sound instruments will resonate in sympathy with this acoustic environment. The reverberations will be recorded electronically by Alexander Lauterwasser and transferred to a small water surface. The patterns in the water will be projected and the music thus visualised in a unique way. The film is available in DVD and VHS format.
